Past and Present Client Case Studies:

Thomasville Landmarks – Needing an update to their current Web site, Thomasville Landmarks approached me with the project.  They were looking for an affordable price, the ability to manage their own content, a secure and easy to use platform and a support package.  Their previous Web site was hosted at yahoo.com and they were using the Yahoo online site builder and FTP to manage their content.  I moved their content into a WordPress installation and built a custom theme for their organization.  In order to make the transition from their yahoo powered Web site to the WordPress powered site, I provided the client with 5 hours of in-person tutorial sessions.

Intergold, LLC. - The client had a Web developer in charge of building several Web sites for each of their locations.  When the developer failed to meet the client’s deadline, I was hired to quickly move the Web sites in progress from the previous developer’s test server, convert the site from asp to php, and have them up and running as soon as possible.  I was able to set up the hosting environment, configure the domain names, set up email accounts, convert the Web sites to php and finish the graphic design within two weeks.  I continue to provide technical and marketing support as needed.

Florida Skunk Ape – This Web site was built to meet the niche market of Florida Skunk Ape (Florida’s Bigfoot) fans.  This site was originally built in 1996, using custom html code, then progressed into a dynamic source code called Lasso in 1998.  In 2001, the site was rebuilt using custom PHP.  And in January of 2010, was re-launched as a WordPress site with a custom theme.  The Web site has built-in e-commerce capabilities, a sightings database, an affiliate program, banner rotation software and many more customizations.

Florida Skunk Ape Coins – Florida Skunk Ape, LLC created a silver coin and was in need of a landing page for order-taking.  A custom theme was built with the ability to take orders through Paypal or Google checkout and added to a WordPress installation. It captures a variety of statistics and data variables regarding the visitors to the page. The data and statistics are analyzed and used to gauge the effectiveness of the advertising.

Stork Avenue, Inc. – Stork Avenue is one of the nation's premiere Internet and catalog providers of designer-quality birth announcements and invitations. Nearly one million satisfied customers have used Stork Avenue. I worked with Stork Avenue, Inc., on a project-by-project basis for over 5 years.  My responsibilities included developing E-commerce Web sites, Web based solutions, and consulting on various third party projects.  I was in charge of constantly upgrading and adding new facilities to the core shopping cart system to accommodate new vendors, additional sister sites, new product options, WYSWYG product previews and the integration of the internal customer service representatives system with the Web sites for real-time order processing and inventory tracking.
